'Streetable' SC300 Makes 9-Second Run at Rocky Mountain Race Week
This SC300 gets much of its ample power from a stout 3.0-liter 2JZ fed by a Precision 7675 CEA turbo running 40 pounds of boost.

A lot of power to only run mid 9s. My guess is it wasn't making 1000whp.

The car dyno'd 921rwhp at ~32lbs and no N20. A few years ago. The Race weight is 3605lbs
The setup for 2015 was more headwork, same turbo @ 40lbs(tappering down to ~33) and 125 shot.
Pretty confident that would be north of 3 digits. In regards to altitude I monitor the DA when I race and it was hot as **** and over 90* everyday.
Day1 Bandimere - DA= 8790'
Day 2 Pueblo- DA=7795'
Day 3 Kansas- DA=4091'
Day4 Nebraska- DA=4622'
Day 5 Bandimere -DA=9037'
My personal best with the car was a 9.10@152 a month earlier. 7000+DA
I killed/pulled/rebuilt the th400, at the track, in the heat on the 2nd day. Gernaded my 7675 on the 4th day(you can hear the whine in the video) borrowed a spare On3 turbo at the track and drove over 400 miles back to Colorado with it rigged up. And I killed the rings on day 5.
Yes I know it seems like it should be quicker but a 3600lbs car at altitude is a 3600lbs car at altitide. With that being said this has been the quickest, street driven import in Colorado for a few years.

Car is currently running Stance drag suspension from MVP Motorsports, TRD Supra auto rear, stock axles. It takes a bit to find the soft enough launch to not break axles( I go through at least 4 a season) but enough that it's not a dog.
That video with the 9.10 pass is a 1.37 60'
