Hey Guys,

They call me frenchy, I live in a little island in the caribbean and speed boost is life.

I am no mechanic; but have an entourage of decent mechanics if not the best on island but just wanted some outside thoughts, I own 2 Cars, 1 2jzge (Down with a dead tranny) and one which is currently a 1jzgte (Single Turbo) but was originally a 1jzge. This one basically needs a short block, i have never driven either of them and i have not caused the issues, just bought them as is to try and build 1 for daily driving and one for MONSTERing (lol).

My main concern would be the daily driver, thought about the 2jzge because it is the easiest to put on the road i would just take the tranny one the 1j and slap in on to the 2j, is that possible and effective enough knowing i would like to turbo charge the 2j single turbo low boost. goal would be a little 400 Hp for daily driving. How complicated would be turbo charging that 2j? how expensive? and how time consuming? This thread is mainly for the daily driver so will hope to get as much help as possible.
