Info: 1UZ VVTi PS pump and Alt using non VVTi parts
So in the course of my swap, I found that if you swap the back cover and reservoir tube you can use the old 92-97 pump. You can also take the back cover and regulator from a vvti alternator and swap them into the 92-97 unit.
Edit: It was discovered during my swap that the pulley is different as well as the power steering pressure line.
If this has already been posted, sorry. Could not find any info on compatibility for these items
