Replaced front main seals and cam seals and all front and rear upper and lower control arms, and steering rack bushings to keep that smooth sc ride. Will need the remainder of the toe arms in the rear sub frame, and Trans and engine mounts shortly with all the driving I do and maintain its smoothness
1993 SC300 5-speed, 237K miles. Original/stock engine. Non-original transmission. Modified chassis. Daily driven. Regular maintenance and plenty of surprise maintenance. I'm the second owner as of 2010.
Took it on a 1600 mile round trip in June and its as flawless; I am stunned each day by how durable these cars can be if cared for properly. They do eat rear tires like crazy even with gentle driving. I only get 18-20K miles on Michelins.
1992 sc400 @ 176000 trying to clean it up after it sat for 5 years. Got it at a police auction for 875. Runs great just doesn't look the best.......yet......
my sold '99 SC 300 had 217,000 when I picked her up. Not sure what the mileage is on her now. I sold her in June. Body was in damn fine condition. I did a manual tranny swap into her. Tranny came out of a crashed '95 with 52K miles! There are some gems still around...
