I totally agree. Just think, if they were that loose in the rear, imagine a hard launch for the high HP guys, they would probably snap right off with that much play, but after further testing this ISNT my issue, I'll grab new rotors with the BBK later, its not mission critical at the moment.

In the video I have both the OEM rotor and the aftermarket with the same outcome so just a coincidence but again, I was just excited at the time and thought I found it but its not. Its suspension related no doubt.

EXACTLY... I'm going nuts.

I have seen a case where either the brake pads were wrong or the rotor was the wrong diameter and caused clunking when braking.

i doubt that's my issue, it could be a caliper sticking maybe, i need to rebuild my calipers, my pedal is so soft and i've bled the brakes 1000000 times.

WTF, well I guess that narrows it down for you. I ordered all new pads, rotors and stainless lines. I KNOW it wont fix my issue but at least I can say it was to troubleshoot

Yea i ordered new sway bar bushings from eBay for $14, brand is prothane i think. I really hope that's the issue and not my coil overs or LCAs.

well i'm an idiot, i was playing around with the suspension yesterday, bouncing on the car trying to see where the sound is coming from and realized i'm an idiot. the bottom bolt on the right link wasn't torqued all the way down, it has some slack, so tomorrow when i have time i'll get that torqued down and we'll see if that fixes my clunking issues. if i have time i'll change the bushings as well which came in the mail today.

If it had some obvious slack that could be the issue. If so I'm gonna crack up after everything you tried

yep, there was slack, cranked it down really hard, changed the bushings and my car is silent and more stable than ever. finally happy this is over with. now just gotta figure out what the clunk is when i'm braking. say i'm coming to a stop holding the brakes, once i'm below a certain speed, 20-10mph there's a loud single clunk. it doesn't happen again for a while, just sort of randomly. no idea what it could be but it doesn't bother me that much.

You're sure it's not the tranny downshifting? You've got the 4th solenoid bypassed, right? That's where the common thump is. It could be coincidental, but you'll usually be on the brakes when slowing to that range.

no mine is a clunk in the front, i can feel it in the pedal too. my 4th solenoid is on a switch that is rarely switched off. my tranny downshifting is another issue all together lol. it's sometimes more rough downshifting to 1st as well. i feel like it's when it's cold. hopefully a fluid flush will help.

Wow, so glad to see you resolved it. I replaced all my rotors, pads and lines and found my passenger side caliper is practically seized, its one thing after the other but still haven't found my clunk.
