Default Anyway to make 95-96 tail-lights look more modern?

I know that the 97+ tail-lights look much modern, however I do not like that they have those big reverse lights in the middle. Has anyone done anything their 95-96 lights or have seen someone else do it?

95-96

IMO 95-96 stock taillight r the most unique design, offered in Sc tenure don't mess/alter the taillight.

There's a couple custom LED 95-96 tails going around that people have made.

tint the orange part red, switch the lens out with the 97 requires housing mods, and use red leds for the daylight running lights at night

Can you explain me more on this, seems interesting. I got the part in which I will tint the orange red, but are there any guides in which I can fit the 97 housing onto the 95-96, also how will i add leds to my current tail lights? thanks.

I just heated them up and took the reflectors out. It makes the upper part look really cool with individual bulb illumination, it looks like leds. Some places might trip on it, but I haven't Been stopped over it and it does satisfy the DMV's state light regulation requirements...

If you see white stuff in the second pic it's just lens cleaner I didn't yet remove.
