Hey thank you! Wished it matched, as I have a 300 M/T. I appreciate the offer

I was reading another thread and I think Tanin said they can correct the odometer reading also, so you would just have to find a manual sc300 cluster. Major props to Tanin for being able to help in these circumstances.

Correct. You can also swap the odometer portion over yourself, if you don't mind disassembling elements of the cluster to gently pull the LCD block and harness out the back. Proceed at your own risk, of course.

The VFD assembly does not contain the mileage. The mileage is on the main board.

^^ exactly its not a simple changing of the lcd screen. I don't think alot of people realize how bad it is to loose your original cluster, basically your car would always be marked as not original mileage the first time you take it in for an oil change with the wrong mileage (especially if its lower than what you had before). at least thanks to this service you have some hope of making your car original like again, but you need to fix it right away.

Seems like there are still so many people having lots of issues with Lextech to this date. If you have valid complaints or concerns with that company, probably wouldn't be a bad idea to lodge a complaint to the Hamilton Country Clerk where Lextech is supposedly located. They can look into these ongoing problems and they already have them listed on the state "do not do business with list" but hearing from all of those who have personally been scammed may motivate them to look into it more. These problems had been on going not months but years, its time to at least try and do something about it. The county clerk phone number is 423 209-6500. Best of luck.

Remember not to personally call out anyone on this thread, that is not going to get anywhere or do any good. The goal is to get Lextech to stop doing people wrong, especially CL members.

Shoot. I guess I misunderstood which aspect you were referring to when we were talking about it being swappable. (Our '95 OAT display on a '94 conversation.)

Lextech has been shady for years look at my post and aka paco's post about experiences years ago. There are also OG members who never voiced their opinion on them because of a hostile moderator associated with Lextech.

Yeah, just moving or programming vehicle mileage from one cluster to another.

He indicated that he would going to make all the clusters that were received would be ready to go and shipped by Friday.

Well... I haven't heard since that email was sent (2 days ago) but I am hope to be getting it back soon with the level of quality one would assume.

Holding my breath, but I hope I don't run out of air...
Did you ever hear back or get your cluster back eventually... or did it fall into a black hole like the rest. I know you were looking for a replacement but wondering what happened to the original one... any more emails?

All considered I'm happy to get it back. Would be worse for me to lose the $ and the cluster. I did file a complaint on the local BBB, not much I know, but I'll do what I can. At some point I want to get this addressed, will likely look in the direction on Tanin.

Default LexTech group buy 2005

I was part of a Group Buy in 2005 for Lextech 32 LED back lighting and waterfall needles. The needles were hard to see during the day after the install and so were the needles.
2016, I've decided to fix the cluster. I've only driven it 17,000 miles since 2005 because I got a Pickup for work. I was eyeing Tannin Needle Kit and thought I would go back to OEM bulbs so I took the Cluster apart. I don't think I can reverse the solder at the bulb locations. Tannin said my needles cannot not be reversed either.
I'm looking for an unmolested cluster now.
