Default power window relay.....

I am on a mission trying to figure out why my power windows or my sunroof do not work.
fuses were good
regulator gets power
no wires are broken between the door jambs

decided to check the fuses by the drivers kick panel again and i saw something missing. a relay. pretty sure its the power window relay

but my issue is every relay ive found has male prongs and in the pic youll see i need female prongs

did something break off in there? i tried pulling on the prongs and they didnt move.

any help would be appreciated thanks

Did you rule out the master switch(es)?

Brett - when you say regulators get power , do the windows go up and down when you apply direct voltage to the window motors ? At least that will rule out good or bad window motors.

If you have good window motors, they won't work through the switch because of that relay missing on your picture. That is the relay that provides power to :

1D pin 9 which provides voltage to the driver's master switch
1J pin 2 which provides voltage to the passenger window switch
IF pin 5 which provides voltage to the moonroof control

That should explain why your windows and moonroof do not work through the switches. Looks like someone had damaged the connector on that area. That should be a female connector , not male prongs exposed just like pictured. The picture clearly shows the damaged housing base of the socket. They tried prying the relay but instead pried the housing too, thereby damaging it.

Has anyone had any luck testing one of these with a multi meter?
