Default Blacked out window trim and OEM JDM Toyota Visor Install

So I finally got around to getting my window trim blacked out. Had the trim vinyl wrapped.

I will also be installing a BRAND NEW set of OEM JDM Visors later today after I get the car washed.

Pic before window trim blacked out:

After window trim blacked out:

NEW JDM Visors:

Updated: I installed the visors and took some pics of the hardware install....I will take full pics when I get back home later.

Really like the black trim look around the windows. If you had a shop do it, what type of quotes did you get before choosing one? Just want to get a range to compare with when I look into having mine done.... Thanks...

I'm probably going to be in the minority on this one, but I'm not crazy about it ... and haven't been when others have posted similar pics.

The idea is solid, but it makes the trim look too thick for the rest of the car. All-black is better than part chrome, but the proportions aren't right. I'd like to see someone try replacing the chrome strip with body color paint for a more unified look.

I honestly think the Chrome strip as a body color strip would look ugly.

Possibly, but you don't know until you try. I was also thinking after the last post, a med. gray strip over the chrome might look better, although how well it would blend would probably depend on the body color. Subdue the color without making the black too thick, sort of like a drop shadow on lettering.

Agreed, I'm all for eliminating chrome, but making it that thick doesn't look factory-correct, either.

Have you seen one done in person? Because it doesn't look thick

I'm happy with the way mine turned out especially with my visors.

Maybe you should try all of these ideas you have out on your car and see how it turns out. Let me know how it turns out.

No, I'm basing my opinion purely on pictures. So, I assume you agree that they look too thick in the pics? Otherwise, there would be no reason to assume I would have a different opinion seeing them in person.

No need to take offense. I've complimented you on most of the stuff you've done with the car. If you don't want to hear negative opinions of your updates, then should you really be posting anything for the public to critique?

No offense taken. And honestly don't care what others think, never have never will.
