Default Q?Interior: Seat safety realistically speaking

I feel a need to replace the torn seats in the soarer.

Many reto fit seats with minor fabrications. I'm intrested in a direct bolt in affair.

I've found reclinable "sports" seats from the reputable manufacturers. In terms of safety for the street would these reclinable seats be ok with the stock seat belt 3 point harness?

Just talked to my local importer in DFW TX , not sure his name but he was very informative on the fact that supra seats are driver side powered on RHD the jza80. So the passenger side on LHD Soarers will be electric and the driver side would be manual.
His price is $300 thats a bit steep.

If you want; to converse send a private message. We shouldn't deviate the thread.

Im going to see the seats tomorrow.

It is upsetting that one of the seats loses power adjustments. Also I guess these seats do not accept aftermarket seat harnesses.

Pick up a set of USDM seats and call it a day. You retain all the TT seat options
