Default Compression test results (and new leak down test results)

These are cold compression test results for my 1JZ I bought last year, previous owner said they were running 160 across the board when he pulled it...which I somehow don't believe.

Granted the engine wasn't warm, hasn't run in about a year, and I know cold compression numbers aren't super reliable, but they do help a little.

Anyways, here we go:

Dry Wet
1-80psi 270psi (that needle pegged fast)
2-150psi 270psi (came down to 240 when testing it again a few minutes later)
3-110psi 150psi
4-130psi 170psi
5-115psi 150psi
6-160psi 190psi

A few weeks ago I did a leak down test on it and came up with some wild numbers, I think I had the intake/exhaust side mixed up because I guess I was thinking the Nissan inline 6s having the intake on the passenger side, but anyways I'll put the old numbers in parentheses. I did notice something different this time, likely due to the cylinders having a little oil in it for the wet portion of the test, but a couple of the cylinders were wanting to spin the engine pretty easily from 100psi of air being pumped in, but I had someone hold a wrench on the cam and crank pulley to keep it held in place.

Anyways, here's the best #s I could come up with (last test results in parentheses):

1-15% and couldn't quite feel any leaks (25%)
2-15% a little from intake and a little from exhaust (60%)
3-18% a little from intake and a little from exhaust (35%
4-90% exhaust (35%)
5-35% intake (75%)
6-10% intake it seemed like (22%)

I guess that little bit of oil in there totally changed my numbers pretty drastically in some cases. However, even though in the compression test the rings seemed to be totally destroyed, I didn't feel a single bit of air coming out of the hole where the dipstick tube goes in the oil pan. Granted, some of it could have been escaping from the valves too much so not as much went past the rings into the oil pan, but I didn't feel anything coming out from there.

The engine could of had 150 or 160 across the board but if it sat for a year, it could of dried out, only way to know for sure is to run the engine then retest
