Hi everyone! Checking in, its TIME!
Long time guys, Yes I still have the SC, No I haven't Parted it out, Nope, not much progress on my car. I am glad to say it is time! I have got my sons car procharged tuned and dynode, Am making the finishing touches on the rear in my drag car and then its back to the Lexus build! The car needs love, start watching for updates soon. Any of the OG's still on here? Chime in.
Here is a couple pics of the boys Engine, He is spoiled, We capped the RPM at 5500 RPM due to we were reaching the mechanical limits of the short block. She made 603 at the rear wheels.
Twin screw 4.7 Lexus is going to live!!!!!!

Engine is a 351w, Has Forged SRP pistons with a effective CR of 9.1:1, Trick Flow High Port heads, Bullet racing cam ground for Boost, Full Hydraulic roller with 1:7 ratio roller rockers lift at valve is .611", edelbrock pro flo direct port fuel injection w/60lb injectors. long tube headers with electric cutouts. Current transmission is a 4 speed toploader but we are getting ready to convert it to a T56 Magnum for strength and drivability. Rear is a 35 spline Detroit locker narrowed buy about 4" and 30" tall by 12" mickey's tucked in the fenders. Car has a Killer stereo and nice interior but outside is still patina, paint later.

Also, love those Windsor motors so much more than a 289/302. Did you neutral balance it? I'm thinking of building a 408 stroker for my next project when the time comes - Probably an early 60's Falcon. I may go with a dart block and punch it out to 445ci though and throw on a little boost. We'll see!
Does the T56 Magnum come with a billet throwout bearing retainer sleeve? I know that's a serious point in the standard T56 transmission. I'd also grab an FRPP HD TOB if it doesn't already have it for some reason.

Bad.***. Wasn't for sure if it was a Galaxie or LTD. The grill threw me a bit.

We plan to do.another short block.later with a aftermarket block and do stroker internals, thats after the Lexus lives.
Regarding the TO bearing, we currently have a McLeod hydraulic set up that will move over to the T56. The Magnum is a completely aftermarket unit and is stronger than any oem t56.
