Default fuel gauge help please

I have a sc400 and a few days ago i replaced my cluster bulbs and noticed when i start my car my fuel level gauge goes all the way past E for awhile and sometimes will slowly go back and read normal. Anyone else have this problem? Sound like a fuel sending unit issue?

On my SC(s) the fuel gauge needle slowly goes up to the current level after starting vehicle. Seems normal to me.

Any help??? This is a intermittent problem. Does it sound like a fuel level sending unit issue? My car has 219k on it

If it happened when you replaced the cluster bulbs, then surely it's an issue with the dash gauge, not the level sensor?

The plastic of the motors is brittle. Unscrew the 5 screws on the gas motor in the cluster and wrap them with a few winds Of aluminum foil to regain connection.
