Assuming the engine isn't blown up or overheating a lot, I doubt it'll need that serious of an overhaul, ever. Is there a reason you think it needs to be rebuilt? I recommend doing the typical 100k maintenance like the timing belt, water pump, hoses, gaskets etc etc.. Otherwise, these V8 motors are practically bullet proof if just maintained properly.

Everything else yeah, if it's broken just browse the part out threads and you'll have everything soon enough.

What kind of kit were you thinking about? The 97+ stock body parts are some of the best looking to most people, just depends on what you're into. Keep us updated!

Welcome to CL, shop very carefully for your body kit & thoroughly as there are a lot of different sites selling the same thing for a wide range of prices, & sometimes you can go straight to the manufacture for your best deal. Also watch for cheap knock offs being sold as the real thing. BTW: there are a lot of us building these cars on limited budgets & taking our time to do it right, so don"t let the detractors bother you. Good luck & enjoy your SC!

So I haven't done much, just sensor work. Think I might do the body work first, it is easy and wont cost much. However I do want to paint it, and no shunning me for it, but I am leaning towards plastidip since I can do it myself.

The Duraflex will need a lot of time and work to get right, I'm pretty sure someone on here bought that and paid 2K just to get it installed.... If you're doing all the work yourself by all means go for it, but if you're disabled and what not I would spend more on a quality kit that bolts on like the original body kit does.
