Default WHAT SHOULD I PAY?!?!? (New Guy)

New to the forums so whats up, anyway I have been interested in sc's since I was a kid, my mom has had an sc400 forever and Iv always wanted an sc300, I was looking to get one that already had the 2jzgte swap or NA-T and was manual, after shopping around for a few weeks I found a black 80,000 miles, manual and NA-T for $6500. Im very interested, but he has a decent amount of mods, and I'm unsure of what I should value the car at, and was hoping you guys could help me out.

Mods list:
AEM EMS v1
Toyomoto turbo kit
Precsison PT61 turbo (4" inlet, 2.5" outlet and 3" V-band) this was added in June 2009
APEXi FMIC with 2.5" intercooler piping (upper intercooler pipe has welded fitting for meth injection, but kit was never added)
Zeitronix wideband o2 with display for Boost, AFR, EGT,
Turbonetics Racegate (42mm) not the smaller Deltagate
Supra TT front and rear brakes
stainless steel Goodridge lines
Southbend Clutch (dual feramic face)
OZ Opera2 rims
Walbro 255 fuel pump
RC Engineering 440 injectors
B&M - 18 Volt Ignition Amplifier
IS300 steering wheel with stage 1 airbag wired in correctly
Daizen steering rack bushings
recently flushed coolant and replaced with Toyota red/distilled water
Sumitomo htr z3 all around, 245/275
Supra TT auto lsd torsen diff in pumpkin
Large b&m oil cooler (mounting location may need tweaking because of size)
TRD thermostat
Supra TT front and rear sway bars
Supra TT Tein circuit master rs coilovers
Optima red top battery
Power steering cooler
Driver's Corbeau a4 seat with base (still have stock too)
Custom 3" single exit exhaust, all v-band
New valve cover seals and pcv valve
New spark plug wires

Negatives:
1. some wiring still needs to be fixed
2. no ac
3. could use a complete respray

sorry for all the reading but if you guys could help me out that would be great,
Thanks

These typsa cars are usually done right, or are a complete hack job. We're gonna need to see pics to give you a good idea.

I really hate when people take videos of there cars halfway through the wash. There's no way to tell the condition of the clearcoat on a wet car.

Also sounds like the car was boosted by the P/O and not the guy selling it, I'd be very wary of this kind of car unless you have a lot of experience with this engine. Diagnosing any problems or poor installation issues will be 100x harder since issues could be the fault of an installation process that you don't know intimately since you didn't do it.

I wouldn't buy it period, but his price is fair, you could probably talk him down to ~$5700 or so. It's worth over $6500 in parts alone. There's probably gonna be a headache that comes with it though I'm sure if your intention is to keep it and drive it long term, especially if it's your only car.

I love black but I wouldn't go in at that price. If you want it to be "clean" it's going to take quite a bit of money. The mileage doesn't mean much considering the rear bumper is hanging on with zip ties, the paint isn't very good, and interior....well it just isn't my taste. But then again to each his own. Regardless of the value of the parts, I'm thinking less then the guy above me stated. This is a 20 year old car. Find out what work the kid who's selling it did to it, and what the previous owner before him did, but take your time. These things don't sell fast, he'll likely be trying to sell it for a few months, and the longer it takes to sell the better deal you can make.

Ok thanks for the opinions, I will keep shopping and let it sit for a little while, but your probably right with the headaches down the road. I'm guessing I would just be better off finding one that's all stock and put the parts I want on it. Thanks

Yes, you'll be better off finding an old cheap SC, then you can mod it to your taste and not have to dits around with wiring issues.

Looks pretty clean. I noticed the NY plates. Be careful of cars from up north. Me being a NY native I am aware of the road conditions when the snow flies. Not saying its a rust bucket underneath or anything. Just be cautious!!
