Default Turn signal mirrors

Hi, yes I used the search but to no avail. Looking to see who changed out their side view mirrors on our SC's with the ones with the turn signals mounted ????

wow this a throw back lol.

Soooo, back a few years ago they used to sell replacement outside "shells" that had the turn signal built in. Most of the time they could be found on ebay, as they did not sell very well for our chassis they pretty much dissapeared. With a quick ebay search I couldn't find any, so your options to get them are to either have it customly done or find an old set floating around most likely.

If you really want them that bad, Yahoo Japan has some floating around. Not too expensive for the actual mirrors but obviously shipping them in from japan and all that sucks.

I would look into getting a shop to customize them for you. I plan on doing that eventually. My money's all over the place right now though.

I have a set sitting in my closet waiting to be installed. They are just cover that needs to be molded to the original mirrors. will post some pics of the set I have a bit later.

I have the only set I have ever seen on CL that is not the covers attached to the OEM side mirrors but are actually molded onto OEM side mirrors. When they came up for sale on CL a few years ago I jumped on them right away since I have never seen them for sale on here.

If you go on import monster you could have them ship it to you here in the US and they are relatively inexpensive to purchase, but keep in mind they are just the covers so you would have to custom mold them onto your OEM side mirrors yourself.

Here are a few pictures of the ones that are on my car.

i think a retrofit would be possible. Scion xB has very similar mirrors that could fit with minor modification maybe? i'll look into it later on.

Do it, you're already on that custom path lol

They make the car look so much more modern imo. Are these covers just reflectors or what? Haven't looked into them in a while.

I have the non-JDM covers. They were poorly installed by the body shop and not even wired up haha. One day I will redo them. Also will change the LEDs to stronger ones. I think getting some custom made is your best bet. It will be easy to DIY with some universal lights and fiberglass if you know your way around fiberglass.
