Cluster Dilemma
Hey guys, so i have a cluster that i bought off of a member on here a while ago and was told that the needles were replaced by the seller himself. Everything lights up perfectly fine, however, the needles are a bit off on their readings. The RPM reads ways too fast, gas meter shows that its reading lower when it's actually full, and the temp gauge is reading a little high (although I know it isn't running hot because it starts with the needle elevated).
Is this a needle calibration problem or a motor/motherboard issue?
Thanks for your help!

It seems like he didn't install them correctly, did he replace the whole needle or just the lighting on there? If he just replaced the lighting then they are most likely not weighted properly and that's your issue and that's what i sounds like to me. Do a search for a post by oldmantan If I can remember correctly (or maybe he'll see this and contact you) about how he put little pieces of a nail on one side to offset the extra weight the modified needles have.
