Default 92 vs. 98 SC300??

*EDIT*

I bought the 92 5-Speed!

92 garnet pearl over tan 5-speed with 126k miles and its probably the cleanest 92 I've ever seen. its a 2 owner car (has stock rims on it now)

go gear head.
automatic just lacks that special something.

just remember...it's gonna be older, might need a bit more work since it's a 5spd. but im loving my sc3, so much more fun than the sc4.

The more i think about it the more I'm leaning towards the 5-speed. as far as i can tell it shouldn't need much work... the original owner was a doctor who traded it in on a Mercedes and the current owner who is an older retired military guy bought it from the dealer 2 years ago and has only put about 4000 miles on it. Thats one of the reasons I'm considering it, normally i wouldn't be interested in a 92-94 but finding a clean 5-speed thats not totally ragged out and hacked up these days is like a needle in a haystack.

He was asking almost $6k for it... after some back and forth haggling i eventually got him down to $5k but he wants to keep his wheels.... no big deal i was gonna change them anyway.

Well i went ahead and pulled the trigger on the 92 5-speed tonight and couldn't be happier!! I had to pull in the gas station and take a pic on the way home. Hopefully it will get above freezing this weekend so i can take her to the car wash.

HAHA yea thats what I'm afraid of... my first SC was a 95 Ren red auto,

and some of you might remember the last SC i had which was a 97 RSP/black auto that i did NA-t on. I then sold it to my friend AKAPACO.

Great choice! Garnet Pearl looks amazing when it's in good shape and it's hard to pass up a 5-speed SC.
