Hilarious...
[QUOTE=Duck05;8737853]I am the original buyer of my '92.
Duck- that's awesome that you've taken such great care of this car for over 20 years. I did get a giggle about you showing up to the meets, though. All the younger folks thinking it's going to be one of their contemporaries and then you get out of a lowered car with rims and a kick a$$ paint job.
Reminds me of my Fast and Furious days years ago, when I had a Honda Civic. Wings West Body Kit, laundry rack spoiler, projector headlights, M3 fenders, Altezza tail lights, the works (hey, we all have to do it sometime). My sister stole the car one day and took it to work, where a coworker told her "nice rims". She thought he was hitting on her for a moment, before she realized what he was talking about.
Her reply? "Oh, the car. It's not mine."
His? "Obviously."

I've only had mine for what will be 2 years this month, but my Dad had it for 3 years prior, so combined, we're half way there. Plus, when he gave it to me, he told me that I was not to ever sell it, so it'll be staying in the family..

I've owned my 100% bone-stock 98 SC300 for almost 10 years (it'll be ten in June I believe).
She just hit 222,222 on the odo and I've got plans to mod her finally after all these years starting in 2015.
We've been through a lot and I've owned a bunch of cars in between, but I just can't get rid of her.

Thanks.... It has been great fun (but an investment) getting it to where it is. My wife was driving it around town yesterday and she told me a pickup truck went by and the driver was taking a photo with his iPhone.....

I've had my '97 SC300 5-speed since late 1999, so going on 15 years. Just coming up on 100K miles, and no mechanical problems of note. Some other problems, to be sure, but the drivetrain has been trouble-free!

I've had my 1994 SC400 for 20 years (458K miles). Recently purchased a 2000 SC400 (112K miles) as my original 1994 needs a lot of repairs - will let her go. Love these cars!
