Default Brake Booster/ Brake Master Cylinder YEAR and MODEL interchangeable?

Unfortunately my brake booster went bad now I'm looking to replace it along with non-trac brake master cylinder. I'll be buying a used brake booster opposed to remanufactured or aftermarket but only could find used ones for 92-96 sc300/sc400.

Does anyone know if earlier model year (92-96) brake boosters can be used with later sc300/sc400??

From what I've researched the main difference is that pre 1999 brake boosters have 3 bolts for the brake master cylinder instead of two, which I don't mind since I'll be replacing that as well.

symptoms: stiff brake pedal, vacuum hiss sound coming from pedal area, still can brake with A LOT of pressure applied. All hoses connected, brake fluid level fine, check valve works properly.

Appreciate any input
