My attempt to install mk4 lip on my sc.
#1
Bought this lip a couple if weeks back from ebay with thoughts of making it fit on my 2000sc or loose some cash which was not an option I had a little time here and there and so I was trying to make it fit without cutting it, but that's not possible at all. As you can see it's about 10" too short. So I trimmed a little here and there and ended up with this so far. The fitment now as far as the both sides of the lip and the bumper is dead on. I used a cutting knife blade type to make it curve around the sc bumper lines. It's all bolted on to my stock bumper using screws and it's all very solid!!! I haven't used a double sided tape yet and I know the dr. Side corner under the fog light is a little too tight, I need to bring that down Tell me what you guys think, this is still is the mid stages, not much work involved so far and I'm going to be creative and not fill the middle section with bondo or fg, but it's going to be something different Comments and criticism are welcome on this thread my sc brothers Got a few pics for you guys too, sorry the iPhone is the only source of communication with you guys!!

looks awesome, looks stock even! i say don't fill the center completely. but like an indent in there would be sweet, something to spice it up and make it different from other MKIV lips. nice job

Definitely different! I wonder how it would look on a early body style front bumper?
I feel like any lip on these cars will be short lived and rip off if your lowered. I would love to spend the money and put a new oem sc4 lip on my car but i fear i will tear it off in no time.
