My customer who just wrecked his 97 factory 5spd got 8k. When I totaled my IS wagon, douche tried to offer me $5200 (sedan pricing). I found every wagon within 3 states of me and proved that it was a 11-14k car due to rarity/mileage which factors out to market value. Next thing you know, I got a 13k check.

I'd be more impressed if the BMW 840 were compared to the SC400 in such figures.
True, I went from a highly modded Legend coupe 6sp to my SC.. Was a very reliable and sound car, very similar to the options we have on the SC. Just had no aftermarket options so everything was one off made and custom, made for a very expensive build, yet still fairly slow car lol... Oh well.. Was fun..

You do know that OBD1 is much better to sell when modded because of alot of states do emissions. anything 95+ is a no go when they plug it up and your not all factory

Kris, I really like those 6-speed coupes. Awesome that you had a chance to own one. I've driven a 95 Legend automatic sedan (Type I engine) once and even that spec was impressive to me in a cruiser, acceleration aside. Wish Acura still made cars like that.

I would try to convince them and let you keep the car. WhO cares what the title says, thats irrelevant. Second option is comparable's, find three around same mileage for sale and fax them the ad, last option is hire an independent appraisal company.
