Default saved a sc400 from a junkyard

I was buying parts for my sc400 that I have right now and the owner told me that he got a new sc400 in. I went to go look at it and I was shocked to see it sitting there. It is bright red very very clean interior, has only 112k miles on it.. has a little front end damage but I am going to repair it.. it drives just fine and does not leak any fluids.. Im so happy I have 2 sc400s now

Wow, that car is way too clean to be there.
That previous owner needs to be brought before a judge for abandonment.

Nice find! What did you get it for? Other than the driver's seat and obvious front end damage, that car looks good as new.

I'm guessing the owner didn't have much say in it being totaled after the accident. Some people get lucky with very low buy-back amounts, while others like myself get an offer that would be tough to break even after all the work parting it out or fixing it up.

Nice find! 112K? Just barely breaking that engine in! Damage doesn't look that bad!

Wow. Just wow. The car was probably stolen and crashed originally, and now you just stole it back! Hahaha! Just kidding, but a hell of a deal for sure.

I was actually expecting you got it for $1000-1500. If you plan to keep it, it's likely a great value. But if you plan to resell it, be careful with the repair costs. It's what, a $4500 car? Then take off 40% for the salvage title and you have to stay below $3000 to have a chance of breaking even. $1000 to repair the front end doesn't give you a whole lot to work with.
