This is an awesome car. I have the same style CF hood, too. Not my personal choice on steering wheel and no spoiler, but other than that, WOW. Thumbs up big time.

I've been heavily looking into swapping out the 1uz just because of the sheer cost of parts for it, like cams alone costing around 1400 bucks. I am VERY interested in the m112 route if I end up keeping the 1uz.

Wow that's awesome! Glad to see someone put in the time and effort that the SC deserves. I can really tell you and your dad both have an eye for the details. Manual + supercharger =

Any before and after pics?

Sorry guys I didn't record my build as it was done over so many years, and honestly I never thought I would get it to where I would want to show it online. I'll see if I can scrounge some pics from my dad, His car is almost Identical except a light blue 95 with black interior (I am jealous of black interiors) he has a W58 and stock computer for now, so between the two cars Ill try to get some build pics. Also the r154 is coming out this weekend so ill take some photos along with the new exhaust hes building. thanks again for all the positive comments

Nice 400!!!
I'm happy to see another 1UZ build!!
on 9psi the car should be close to 360-370 at the tires and just over that in torque.

Love the red valve covers. Wonder who came up with that idea ;-)

Just last week I put 20 psi to my SC400 1UZ. ran 126mph in the 1/4mile
If you have any question feel free to reach out to me. I'd be more then happy to help where I can. I can at least tell you of the points where the motor failed so you can avoid them if your looking to make more HP.

Good luck!
Nice car, and great build!!!
Bob

rdm20fan---- I just checked out your website and wow thats some amazing workmanship! I didn't even think twin turbo in a sc4 was possible! Are you on stock internals?

Default Jealous of the Supercharger & 6-speed

I like it alot !!! Sucks ur up in Canada...would love to pick u & ur dad's brain on the s.c. build. Im looking to do something similar to mine and was going to go thru Australia's Bullet Superchargers. If ur ever looking to tweek things, I know a guy who does steering wheels. Had a GS wheel stripped, re-shaped & refinished in carbon fiber for cheap compared to others out there. Shocked to hear it kept some of the old characteristics after swapping to poly's. My ride lost alot of its "Lexus" feel after lowering and adding strut braces & sway bars. By the time I put in my BattleVersion & Ikeya parts, dont think i'll be able to call it a Lexus.

All the best with it bro, enjoy!!

Thanks Mike! My Buddy Chris (C.M. Racing) did all the fabrication.
A twin turbo SC400 is very possible. It does take a little work though.

No, I'm not on stock internals. I've broken more stock parts then I'd like to admit.
I melted a stock piston at I think around 12psi. (That was a while ago I don't remember)
I'm pretty sure I went lean quick and killed a couple pistons. I don't know where they fail if the AFR's are kept right.

I have an early motor, and the stock rods twisted at about 500 at the rear wheels. I've heard of a few guys getting 550 when they fail, but if your goal is 500 at the back tires i would look into rods.
I think that was about 15psi.

You can read about my build if you would like. I'm sure its on here, and also on lextreme.com
