I'm back like a vertabrae
I traded my silver spruce SC400 a few years ago with some goodies I had for it for my 92 twin turbo pearl white 300ZX I've got now. I've missed that car for a long time and had an opportunity to buy another car to play with, daily drive, whatever and found this really clean, local SC300. I never really liked the white ones in pics but seeing one up close it was a lot nicer than I thought, plus having the uber dark tinted windows really pops against the bright white paint. Now, I have 2 cars that blind me in the sunlight when I look across the panels to make sure I got all the wax off.
It had 182,711 when I took delivery of it and runs fine. Maintenance records, and came from an SC enthusiast. Real nice guy, voluntarily pointed out any flaws on the car before I even had a chance to find them, and I knew what to look for having had an SC before.
Yes, I know the wheels are heinous, and those will be addressed shortly but at least they're round and have rubber on them.

What sold it for me (even though I could have gotten another 400 for a few hundred cheaper) was the color of the interior and cleanliness of it, also the engine bay. I had to have at least gray, or black interior. Tan is just a little too boring. Also the engine bay looks like it came off the assembly line just 2 or 3 months ago, it's very clean.
I was initially going to put a built engine and bigger turbos into my 300ZX with the money, but with the difficulty of working on it and all that, I think I'll mostly just keep it like it is aside from throwing all my suspension on it. I bought the SC300 because it's easier to work on, muuuuuuuuuuuch more aftermarket support (even though the Z32 has quite a bit) and the ease of NA-T, or a 2JZ GTE, or a 1JZ GTE. Likely, a 1JZ VVTI will win out on a rainy day when I decide to transplant another motor. However, for now, I think just some suspension and better wheels/tires will suffice.

Thank you thank you...no he wasn't the original, he got it from a guy in Atlanta last year sometime I think. He moved up here close to Chattanooga and his back was giving him trouble and was a little hard to get in and out of so he sold it to me. Luckily, my back is fine....for now *knock on wood*

The white paint doesnt look that impressive in pics. but in person it does look better. all u need is wheels, suspension, front lip or 97+ and ur good to go. thhen get a turbo in there for some decent power

Got a friend down in the Mobile area with a buddy selling some iridescent purple Varsstoen 6 spoke Volk ripoffs (whatever model # that is) with tires for $1k. Gotta check and see if the offset/widths need rolling or put straight on. They look great on his 2g GS300 and I think the purple would pop real well against the pearl white...plus I like purple anyways. Thinking about picking those up in a week or so and some drop springs.
