Default Stock Springs 92-96 vs 97-00

I searched, but haven't came up with a concrete answer. Can anyone confirm that the stock springs for 97+ cars sit a bit lower and have a more even wheel gap front to back? My 93 sits much higher in the front than the back and I'm trying to find out if swapping some 97+ factory springs would even this out. I want to maintain the ride comfort, so I'm not looking to get lowering springs or coilovers. Thanks!

I have owned both a 92 SC and now my 00 and I can tell you for certain that there is NO difference between the two stock spring setups. The front will always appear to have more wheel gap because the front wheel well is cut higher up on the body than the rear. If you only look at the ground clearance, you'll notice it's even all around. Even after installing lowering springs on both my 92 and the 00, there is still more gap up front so as to provide enough clearance when the springs are compressed and the wheel is turned.

The 97+ do seem a bit lower then pre 97s dont they.

My 97 seems a bit lower stock then my previous SC's were.

they seem lower because the 97 body hangs a bit lower due to the sideskirts and different bumper design. ive only owned my 95 but from what i know there is no difference

Thanks for the responses! I guess I`ll just have to deal with it as I don`t really want to give up ride quality at all.

It's all about the suspension. My 92 has decent wheel gap as it's been garaged for 20 + years. My dad's 95 is almost flush on OE springs because their sagging so bad.
