Default Back in the SC game with my 5th SC300

Just wanted to say hi to the community again. I've been gone since I traded in my 1996 SC300 four years ago for my F-150. My wife is finally wrapping up her grad school program, so I can get back into a sports car to play around with. Decided to do another SC300, instead of an NSX, and do it right this time with a GTE swap, since it wont be my daily driver.

Very clean car!!!

I agree with the NSX! Been looking at a few and will either get a 2003+ or a 2006+ Porsche 911...the NSX is gorgeous!!!

An NSX would be a $40k loan. A turbo kit for the NSX is $12k...its would add up fast from there. I COULD get it, but it would leave less money available for vacations and a new house. This will be fun...for now.

Congrats on the find. A garage with a swapped SC and an NSX would be awesome!

Nice SC, can't wait to see the progress. I managed to blow the HG in my 400 at only 170k (sketchy Toyota dealer in the area screwed it up years ago), so I plan on doing the same as far as motor swaps go, since it's no longer my daily. Keep us posted!

You know you could get polished ones and get them where you want, then layer a clear coat on them right? Even a powder coat clear.

Nice ride and congrats

Yes I am aware of different clear coats and sealing products for polished aluminum wheels....they don't do a very good job, at least what I tried before. The wheels still need to be stripped an re polished. CCW even confirmed as much to me in an email....
