Sc300 bent hub?
The brakes on my SC have been dragging since I bought the car in January and today I finally got around to doing the ls400 bbk with drilled/slotted rotors and ceramic pads on all four corners. I started with the front passenger side which is the problem area and just figure the pistons in my old caliper were sticking but after I bolted up the new rotors and calipers and gave them a few spins I realized that wasn't the case. Something seems to be bent and I'm not exactly sure what. My guess is the hub. What do you guys think?
The clearance between the caliper and rotor widens and narrows as I spin it and I definitely don't want to leave the problem as is because it will destroy my rotors and pads and will continue the feeling of always having the brakes applied.
I will try to post a video asap.

I'd definitely think it's the hub. I did a 5 lug swap on an old 300zx I used to have. Anyway, the donor car was wrecked and my hubs were bent. I used a dial caliper, 3 jaw puller and a sledge hammer and got it to the point the hubs were off by about two tenths of a mm. It fixed my issues. In my situation my hubs were so bent that the wheels would wobble like crazy...
FWIW, I'd assume if your hub is slightly bent, maybe it was in a small fender bender on that side before you bought it?

I wouldn't rule it out as the was a dent in the fender when I bought it which I have since replaced. Otherwise very clean and the foam and bumper support and everything are in perfect shape. I would guess it was definitely drifted a bit as the ebrake is worn out to the point it won't even lock em up on ice. Anyways I was inspecting the drivers side front and found that they too seem to be bent/dragging because I cannot spin the rotor freely with it jacked up and tire removed. It's a fairly solid amount of play too, at least on the passenger, when spinning the rotors. I'd guess about 3/16". With it seeming that both front wheels are out of whack would it be more likely that the bearings are just shot? Seems unlikely that both hubs could be bent.

For bearings to be shot you will usually hear/feel a roaring sound at low speeds and you will be able to jack up a wheel and literally shake the wheel and feel the "play" when the bearings are going bad.
Honestly, I don't think I would be able to spin my rotors too freely with the wheels removed. Their should be some sort of slight resistance. Anyway, if your hubs are warped enough to see a 3/16'ths of play on the rotor, you should have some very visual issues in terms of wheel wobble when you spin your tire while the car is jacked up..
Both sides of my rear 300zx hubs were warped, so it is possible both sides can be bent,

Found the complete hub assembly on eBay for $58 each shipped. Bought both of the front ones and will be doing the install early next week. I will post back with an update on if this solved the issue or not.
