1998 SC300 Rear O2 sensor "mod"
Does anyone have information on specifically which resistor/diode I need to use?
I'm throwing a CEL for the rear/downstream sensor, and since it doesn't do anything useful other than to tell me the cat is bad... I'd like to bypass it.
I understand I can use the sparkplug antifoulers, but given that I'm getting a code for the sensor, I would reckon the sensor crapped out.
Any help would be appreciated.

Do you have a catalytic converter?
If yes, then determine why the sensor is telling you there is a problem, is it because of the sensor or because of the cat. Replace the non functional item.
If no, then assuming the Sensor is Actually Functional (or if you replace it then do the following)
- get a spacer or defouler for the rear o2 (some companies will have 2-3 different sized openings to allow less or more air to the sensor)
The Sensors are Not expensive... ~$25

I appreciate your advice, but I'm really looking for the resistor mod to bypass the secondary/downstream O2 sensor as a whole.
