LFA Style front inlet idea.
Not planning on doing any custom bodywork in the measurable future, but the lines just popped out to me. As the title says, I mocked up what an LFA style inlet could look like on the SC and think it looks pretty good. Along with that, it opens up the front of the car to the new front grill shape that Lexus has been going with for a bit now.
And here is a second, quick edit on the lower part of the bumper to bring in the dividers to show more of the Lexus lines for the front end, but if I were to work on it the design of the lower bump would be totally different, that's too much open area for what I'm thinking.
Anyway, let me know what you think!

sorry. but it doesn't work with the sc.
it doesn't work for the supra either (saw someone do a design like this for a supra)
the LFA just has such differently lines its hard to make it match up to anything but a LFA

Surprised nobody likes it... Hmm.
@ the catfish picture and comment of the bumper, I did mention I wouldn't go for that style anyway. That photo was used simply because it is a large resolution and almost straight on for easier editing.

I don't like the new Lexus 'corporate grill' identity and that triangular grill opening treatment they're showering all over their cars. The will be my last Lexus until something fresh comes around and I personally wouldn't be a fan of introducing it to this car. I don't think it would work well on this car since the newer cars go after this 'angular' look while the SC and other Lexus offerings of the era were very soft-edged.
The LFA is pretty but it doesn't quite do it for me compared to the muscular German offerings. Just too flamboyant IMO. Sweet motor though.

I think it may look good if someone incorporated the new RCF style Grill into the front of the soarer
itll still allow the high beams to be left alone. and cover a majority of the front with a new open grill - a little chrome or black or whatever for the surround would be good.
I tried.. but at work I have MSPAINT - and cant impose this front grill onto that red bumper you have in your first post.
