Bought a SC300 5 Speed...what do ya think?
Hey so I bought this SC300 last week and it's a great car. I know the 5 Speeds are pretty rare. Let me know what you guys think. How much are they worth? It's got
173k Miles
5 Speed
Borla Exhaust
Clean
All stock (minus intake, exhaust, and wheels)
Runs great
Thanks!

Welcome, and yes finding a manual is rare? Especially one that's not beat to hell! It looks like yours is pretty mint...and as far as what they're worth? Should be priceless? lol, seriously, enjoy her and take your time with her. As BIGEZ asked, what's your plans? Also, check out the "sticky", there's a lot of D.I.Y. write ups there. For parts and wheels, etc. Check out the classified threads. GL, keep us posted.

Nice car, OP! Worth? Well, they're worth something decent but they aren't truly expensive cars at this point. It should be worth something to you, however. Yes, what are your plans for it? Whatever you do they are enjoyable and actually very practical coupes.
The mileage on your car isn't a big deal. I do, however, recommend verifying or doing all the major maintenance due and upgrading to LS400 front brakes. Daizen steering rack bushings tend to be necessary at that mileage to bring things back into line too.
Hope you enjoy your purchase!

Hey bid O just traded my accord for one exactly like yours....not as clean but close. Its been fun. The DIY on here are a god send. Already I feel like the luxury has returned. All i have left is door panels, AC, Pass window regulator and clear coat on the roof.
These guys are great community and its a nice class of people.

welcome to clublexus. as everyone stated, worth is relative. throwing monetary values out there: resale, I'd say $3K as a whole. component wise, trans swap swap sells upwards of 1000. Shell goes for upwards of 1000. Engine and interior are another 1000, and reliability is priceless

Welcome to the CL community.
We demand more pictures of the car, engine bay, interior, etc. LOL
Keep the maintenance up and she will run a long time, almost as long as the 1UZFE.

What Year is it? Like the Tegra in the background, have a 98 LS with 00 nose 5spd. 96 SC400 also. 92 BMW 325I with M3 drive train also. I know why the Iraqis use them for car bombs. LOL.
