I had to pop out my head unit because I had the Front Right and Front Left RCA's mixed up....minor I know but it was a thorn in my side and I wanted to be done with it....

Now I don't know which one of these wires is for the radio...the one above has a sort of brown weather strip around it, and the one below just has a small piece of black tubing around it... They have identical size Radio Antenna Input Jack, and small input jack....



So which one is for the antenna? The one above of below? I'm thinking the one on the bottom is for the antenna simply because it goes towards the left of the car, but I don't want to mess it up. Also what are the other wires for? Signal wires to the stock amps?

Well I know mine didn't come with the phone, but perhaps they left the wiring in there? Still not sure which is which though....any help appreciated.

It's the antenna and signal and phone. All SC's are prewired for the phone wether it came with one or not.

I can't really make anything out of the bottom 2. But the top one looks like to be the one for the antenna and next is for the signal or remote or something. They have different sizes anyways, one wouldn't be able to fit in the other.

No they are the same size, each set has a big one and a small one that are identical in size. For the record it is the top one with the brown weather strip crap on it.

I know for sure that the thinnest is the phone cable and one of the thicker ones is definately raidio antenna the 2nd thick one puzzles me too

thats weird.. um pull on it make sure both are connected.. but generally with the 90's cars the bigger one is for fm and the little one is for am stations. the car phones didnt have antenna going to the deck they had it going into the truck to the phone ecu with a coax mini twist conector.

I recently reinstalled my oem radio....and all i had was the weatherstripped one...try it first

I believe the big one goes to the antenna, and the other two go to rear windshield, one on driver bottom corner and another on top of the rear windshield

main antenna that goes up and down (big one on top), diversity antenna that helps with reception and AM (small lower one in the picture), the middle one is not used for the phone

my radio works fine but i dont get good fm signal. i pulled the radio and i have two wires going up behind passenger airbag with the brown foam on it, there was also what looked to be an extension about 1 foot long pluged between those wires and the radio, i replaced the back power antenna mast cause it was broken and still no fm signal, there is a little noise if you turn up the volume all the way
