Default OEM Trunk Spoilers....

Are the OEM trunk spoilers interchangable from sc300 and sc400 and from all years from 92-00

[URL=http://s598.photobucket.com/user/rcc5031/media/IMG_0245_zps845c3bdb.jpg.html][/U

Looks like i have 97+ style on my car....minus the brake light

I was looking to change it out to the 92-95 style wing...

As seen in this thread...

Yes you just need to drill extra holes for the 92-96 style, and runs some wires for the break lights. This is not a difficult task. Align/drill/mount.

My car is an original 92 5spd....Im curious how the spoiler got on the car....because there are no other holes in the trunk....Maybe this was an added option...

The original trunk probably got banged up, and got replaced with a Sandstone 97+ trunk. My 96 trunk is banged up I'm going to replace it with a 97+ to match because it's all I can find without too much hassle.

SC300 never came with a factory spoiler in 92. Any spoiler you see on that year SC300 was either a "dealer accessory" or someone went and installed an SC400 spoiler (or any other spoiler) themself.

Color looks a bit off, probably aftermarket since no 3rd brake light built into it.

Your going to have to drill a few more holes into your trunk. The 92-96 spoiler will cover the 97+ spoilers holes left behind i believe. Your still going to want to fill those in tho to avoid water in your trunk or rust.

Your going to have to match it up and drill new holes into your trunk

This. The lifted spoiler looks terrible in my opinion, you should def remove it all together or add the early year style, it almost looks aftermarket, love those..
