Default LED swap questions

Hey guys, Im planning to replace all the lights with LEDs. I wanna get a new flasher right away though so I don't have hyper blinking Lights. So my questions are what type of flasher goes in a 92 sc400? Where have you guys bought them (if you have)? And where is it in the car?
Thanks

What you need to stop the LED from hyper blinking is to wire in a special resistor.

Just scroll down on the first post you'll see the digital flasher I used to prevent the hyper blinking with the LED bulbs.

http://www.superbrightleds.com/morei...asher/782/836/Here is where I bought mine. There's a way to cross reference it, there's actually a diagram on the flasher itself that shows letters and numbers for each terminal, it should just match the digital one and you're good.

Yeah, I always find myself going back to superbrightleds.com for LED lights. Their bulbs look way more top notch in quality unlike some eBay or craigslist LED's I see around. Plus they have a 2 year warranty on them.

X2 on the superbrightleds. I've bought wayyyy to much stuff from there over the years - they also have good customer service - I've had fast response using their pre-sales chat window...

I'm going to get that flasher, too...

Oh and to the OP, I looked around some posts and I'm pretty sure the flasher is in the driver side foot well on the left side - open that little access door and you'll see it. I'd look at mine but my wife took it to work...

I have a 93 400 and was unable to get any replacement flashers to work when I changed all my lights out for LEDs. I ended up having to modify the existing flasher unit. I'll post some steps if a replacement fails to work for you.

There is a small release towards the firewall that that catches the flasher unit. It needs to be pushed towards the firewall to release it. After a few times of taking mine out I was able to get it with just my hand, but the first few times I used a rubberized grip for opening jars. Hope this helps and good luck.
