I am thinking of putting an led strip over the fog light or inside the fog light, giving the same look as the audi/benz does. anyone have any idea of what would be a good way to do this, and type of led i should use. i will probably wire it direct to the fog. just thinking of which type of led strip to use or if anyone has any other idea i am very interested.

Best way to do it is to split it open and install on the inside. It looks less tacky there. I recommend stating away from store bought leds and focus on a custom job. Look in the "what u did to sc" thread to see my headlight mods, once I am done, I'm tackling high beams and turn assist lights (93 model).

I chose to do the simple plug and play install with HID kit. They are super bright for the 55 watt ballast. GL on your mod, I am sure you will post pictures of it once done. I dont think there is a DIY on here for the fog light in what you are suggesting.
