Aftermarket steering wheel
Well im looking to find myself a New wheel. I have never bought or done a new steering wheel before so dont know a ton about. Does size of the wheel matter or are most the same looking to buy a " deep dish concave" one dont no the legit name so thats what i call it. Now as for the hub and quick release stuff.. I have a soarer so will a sc hub work and i want to keep my cruise control do they make a hub where that stick will fit in and still work. And im assuming if a sc hub works i just find a matching quick release peice.? I also would not be surprised if a mk4 hub works aswell any imput and help would be great..

Here is an aftermarket steering wheel thread to get some ideas of what people are using for wheel, hub, and quick release(if you want).
I have an SC and I used a generic toyota hub for the mkiv supra. Most of the hubs will allow you to use either of the 2 styles of aftermarket steering wheels which are both 6 hole patterns. If you go for a specific brand of hub say Nardi, you have to use a wheel that uses the Nardi hole layout.
There are some videos on youtube explaining the differences as well. Hope this helps!

Also remember the smaller diameter the steering wheel, the more turns it takes to cycle the steering and harder to turn. Most use a 350mm wheel. The "Deep Dish" style wheel is mainly to get the steering wheel closer to the body.

Thanks for the information guys i read the hole wheel thread you tagged the black nardi wheel seemed to be my favorite.. What is the stock steering wheel size in out cars just out of curiosity? And do they make any hubs where my cruise control will still work

Stock steering wheel was 15.25" across and 5" deep! I don't think there is a hub to allow cruise control. Some members have talked of mounting the cruise control somewhere else but I have never seen anything.

Yes it would be harder to turn but it still turns the same amount? It's not going to change the 1.5 turns to lock in either direction. It just gives you less torque since the diameter is smaller so the wheel feels heavier.
