Default My daughter got her SC painted

Someone backed into my daughters SC in a parking lot and smashed the fender. The other drivers insurance paid out $1900 and didn't total the car, so I bought a fender for $50 and got the SC4 painted.

The before picture actually looks great because it was raining and you can't see how bad the clear was peeling.

Very unique color for the SC. Is that Tahitian Green as found on Hondas?

The color wasn't officially a factory color, it was just a number.

I wanted my SC3 to black too, but I hardly ever drive it anymore, so I'm selling it instead.

It was just under $1200 out the door. She opted not to do door jambs etc. It would have been an additional $250 for door jambs, trunk, under hood, but she decided she would rather have the seats redone with that money which I think is a good choice because they are THRASHED!

They did all the prep work. Apparently it had many many layers of paint that needed to be removed. It has a 3 year warranty against fading, wrinkling, and cracking. It's certainly not a perfect job, but I think it's really good for the price. They did a great job masking the trim and lights and stuff, but there is a little overspray in the wheel wells. There are a couple small pieces of lint and imperfections too. I'm still very happy with it. They filled a few dings and removed the emblems as opposed to masking them.

I'll get more pics another day.
