tuned with matt farrah?
i don't know if anyone follows the /drive channel on youtube or not, but there is a series on there called TUNED that shows some clean modified cars ranging from muscle to exotic to jdm. i think it would be sweet to see a tricked out sc reviewed on there to show off how beastly the sc is. i mean apart from the few vids on youtube about sc's, there aren't many comprehensive reviews of the capability of the platform and how it can be enhanced. what do you guys think? someone whos got a mean 350+ horsepower sc and some killer suspension and wheels should showcase their car! you would have to let matt farrah drive you car, but it would bring a million street cred points to it.

I would like to see more cars on there. I mostly see muscle and extremely modded cars, unless hes been challenged to buy a cheap car. Id like to see him drive my truck, but he wont. And Id like to see him drive a wider variety of cars, but then again, I think he is biased against cars that are "modded heavily" . And I think hes channel is more of cool cars, rather Car and Driver that offer comprehensive reviews of cars. It would be cool, but hes not as comprehensive per say as other channels and others people.

I watch his shows. I'm particularly interested in his personal Delorean restoration segments.
It would be great to see him review an SC but I'd really like to see him review a stock-looking 350-450 horsepower 5-speed car, not a monster 750+hp drag or drift race car. In other words, he should review something that hasn't had $20k+ invested into it. That would be very easy. I think he'd actually take that approach since he's already reviewed a 650-700hp Supra MKIV and a near 1,000hp MKIV and he preferred the former.
But great shows all around. Sure, ANY SC or Soarer on there would be great.

tuned is a great show.
but what would the point be to show a mildly modified sc?
For recognition, he should drive a super badass awesome one to show that it is a sweet awesome fast luxury car. For the price of a supra, you can have a heavily modified sc... at least where I am from you can! It would demonstrate options for people!

whoever has a mean sc and is proud of it should contact these guys and get them to showcase their car. it'd be sweet and would probably bring more activity to the forums just saying

Someone should post the episode where he reviewed a Supra (or two of them?). It's still above what I wish he'd review but he seemed to think the useable limit on the street was a 700hp 2JZGTE. He didn't like more powerful Supras, impressive as they are.
Still though... how many owners here actually are running 700hp tunes?
Eh... maybe he only wants to review powerful cars. Heck, the upholstery shop owner I went to today had a bloody Callaway Camaro SS out front as his personal car. It was bumped from a mere 570hp to 700hp. I've ridden shotgun in a 650hp V160 SC and that was something I'll never forget. It's not exactly a unicorn number any longer but still...

600hp+ is a lot... unless your job is to drive and review ridiculous tuner cars and show cars every week. Maybe it makes some people jaded to anything less. That's fine... but it doesn't represent all viewers when a TV/web program is involved.
Edit: Sorry-- I thought this was a Matt Farrah show but it isn't. Still... here is an episode of //Drive involving a 1974 Nova that looks mostly "factory". It's a monstrous car and well beyond my argument admittedly (1200hp on this thing). Not exactly a sleeper but certainly not flashy. It's ridiculous but it makes up for it by doing the opposite of what most 1000+hp cars do: announce what they want you to think they are before the pedal even hits the carpet.
