Default What LEDs with no hotspotting?

Hey guys. I wanna buy leds for my cluster but am looking for a specific type that doesn't leave any hotspots. Or at least visable to the naked eye.
I dont mind ordering from superbrightleds or vled, just point me in the right direction please lol.

No such thing. Laws of physics cant be bent. Sticking a flashlight to a piece of paper is going to turn out the same way no matter what. That's what the custom built clusters are for.

i used the 5mm NEOx bulbs in mine, i put in red and i could not tell where the hot spots were. you need 8 of them. Maybe worse in other colors though.

since linking is not allowed here go to superbrightleds and search there.

Use the led strips, they don;t hot spot and you can change the color. Theres a guide on here somewhere.

I have had great success with using all of my bulbs from suprbrightleds.com. While I had my cluster apart changing the bulbs, I used some reflective tape to disperse the light a little bit better behind the cover. The results were night and day. I also used the 120 degree angle bulbs in pure white. Put the reflective tape all over the inside white cover that the bulbs go through and lock into position. Results will vary, but I am very pleased with mine, even during the day.

dont buy the single led's buy a strip and put that in your cluster instead. all you need is to go to superbright and get a 50cm strip and a .59cent connector but it in half and boom your good on both sides. check out my build thread i show how to put it in.

I sent my cluster to Tanin and I'm very happy with the results.

I'd recommend their products any day.

I used Superbirghtleds.com pure white bulbs and it looks good. Hot spotting is noticeable but it's fine for since I only spent $20.

I may try the reflective tape thing.
