Does this happen when you shut the car off completely? I sorta randomly had this problem myself...It would turn off when I shut the car off completely...I'm thinking it's the ECU trying to relearn something...I'm not sure, Sorry I couldn't be of anymore help.

Is your car lowered? If so, did you relocated your wiring harness?

I'm with you on this one. I think its the ECU as well

Maybe the ECU's main relay is on with the key out of the ignition, so try wiring a switch in to cut power to the main relay.

does your dome light come on when you open the door and its set to "door".

ive seen this happen when the door switch is broken. The body's ecu gets confused and "thinks" you are still in the vehicle, so it doesnt set off the timer to deactivate the lights after x seconds.
