pretty shocking to me actually knowing now its a salvage.. IMO keep the car keep what you want and part out the rest. it might take awhile but it'll be worth it. if you could score a cheap decent clear titled car you'll have more monies for rebuild/swap/parts...ect. theres been some decent finds lately of decent SC's under $500 that were just waiting to be rescued.

Damn what year is your car? 1993, plus twice salvaged, $3100 to keep the car seems like a lot imo...I would of imagined they would have given you about $1900 or so. What insurance did you have?

haha, I have liability through state farm, the person that made the left turn in front of me who i hit's insurance was triple A, they're the one paying.

yeah this cars got a rap sheet, stolen and stripped in 1999, hasnt been recovered until 2002, been in a collision as well before since the cars been repainted explaing why my paint seemed to look pretty good.

i guess i am blessed to get this much and not get injured in the accident. I hit the car on the door and rear quarter panel, spun the car a whole 180*.

yeah man you're definitely coming up on this whole situation, knowing it's a salvage title. I'm very surprised they're giving you that much! In any case, I'm glad you're okay, and it's a bummer that this one is totalled, you were doing a good job on it. Just come back harder next time!

just sell it for 800$ as long as you get rid of the car, move on lol
