Arrow Tint on white sc's

I was wondering what tint you guys have on your white sc's? and pics? I need to get mine redone. I could get it done at lexus for $150 but I can't get it "dark" the way I want it.. also worried about if doing the tint messes up the defogger on the rear windshield? I've researched locally and seems like most shops do it for $200+ seems like 20% all around looks nice especially on black sc's. And I know the legal limit for texas is 25% on the fronts. I was thinking about 5% in the rear 3 windshields but I don't want to have trouble backing up and not being able to see at night.

If you want darker than Lexus is charging, go to a local place. It should be like $170 (about what it is here anyway) sounds like 20% all around with 25% on the front would be good for you just to guarantee that you don't get a ticket, I have 5% on the back and 20% on the front 2, it's almost impossible to see out the back at night.

I would recommend 15% on the back windows and 20% or 25% up front. 15% isn't too hard to see out at night.

I run 5% all around on my cars and backing out at night can be tough at night if you're in a really dark or crowded area. When I ran 15% it wasn't as bad.

I called a place up and their price was $189 (cheapest out of all the places i called so far) and everything sounded good with high quality tint. They offer 5% 20% and 35%. I've had a car with 5% in the back and 15% in the front before and I never had a problem for 4 years. Since 25% is legal limit I think i might be able to pass with 20% on the fronts. But now that you mention about the 5% I remember it was quite hard to reverse but it wasn't a major problem for me. Now i'm considering either 20% all around or 20% on sides and 5% rear. Thanks

Thanks! Unfortunately the place I want to do the tint at only offers 5% 20% and 35% and 55%.

I would do 20% all around except for the tiny rear windows. You could do 5% on those and be alright.

I would also recommend tinting the entire front windshield with 55% to block out heat. 55% isn't noticeable from the outside but it will keep the car cool.

from what i know it is illegal to tint the front windshield, at least in FL. There are different types of tint you can use which block a certain amount of heat while not being as dark. Cant remember the exact names but a local place has them. They look light but block 70% of the heat. I wouldnt overly black out the small windows as those are your blind spots.

If you set your side mirrors in the right position you will be able to see blindspots

You are correct, it is illegal. Like you said there are types of tint that can block out tons of heat and almost be completely clear.

That's very true. I run 2.5% on my back side windows and haven't had any trouble.

I had 15% installed back and back sides.... Not too bad at night. Takes a bit of practice looking out the back during the day

Used a special 80% which is almost clear on the sides to reject heat and UVa - any after market tint is illegal in California on those windows but many people take their chances (or ride with the windows down to avoid being pulled over...).

When parked in the sun, a handy sun shade comes into play....

35 on passenger window, 20 on side window and 10 on back window. I think works perfect.

I like the color of your car, you need some rims

I never seen 3 different shades before but the combination looks nice! can people see through easily on 35% and recognize a face?
