Thanks! I'll say I would prefer to spend more time cleaning it than watching paint chip off...it was pretty embarrassing before...

It's all in the application. There have been some horrible examples and some nice examples. There are pros and cons to the dip. The same with wrapping a car as well. Everyone is into something different.

But I understand the issue with the old white fading, my car was doing the same with the front end looking different than the skirts and rear.

You could always dip it pearl white to appease the masses if you even care lol
Ummm but you may need more coats or you will have a hard time peeling the car. I can see where it's thin I. The pictures.

It actually looks pretty cool in person folks, don't give too much **** LOL. I bought a Sentra as a daily beater last year and its paint was faded too. I plastipped it white as well earlier this year (about Februrary) and the paint is still holding up well six months later. I used 16 rattle cans and did six coats. Its not for everyone but given that its temporary its a fun thing to do for the heck of it.

we have a local shop around here the same company that did my engine pieces can actually paint the car a matte finish. they did a Mini Cooper in matte red with a tint of gloss and looked amazing .

I'm really liking the arthricite color from dip your car.

That looks awesome! I planned on dipping mine in Gun metal grey, then maybe Grabber Blue or something else crazy. You should have tried the metalizer, either gold or silver, would have turned out great!

This is a great alternative when getting your car painted is not financially possible. Think about it, your paints peeling or fading but getting your car painted by a reputable shop will cost you $3500-4500.. Why not spend a couple hundred and have your car looking good again. It's a no brainer!!! Car looks good buddy, great job.

The metalizer doesn't look good on whole cars IMO, the pearlizer is a little better. You have to remember these cars are big.

I was thinking about either getting the gloss coating or the pearlizer, but haven't really made up my mind yet.

It turned out really good IMO

Do you have to be extra careful washing your car now?

I thought I would, but I didn't have any issues yesterday washing it. I am going to take it through an automatic washer this week...fingers crossed haha!
