Clockspring install help needed.
Hey guys, i messed up. lol. I put my steering wheel back on from SEMing it, and i completely forgot to check how the clock spring was turned, turns out i had it one rotation off, and as i took a sharp left hand turn, i hear this awful noise, and my airbag light turns on. No cruise control, nor horn. So i made the assumption that i broke it. Well, low and behold it sure is, it's got cracks on the face, and well, it's not working, so that's pretty obvious. My question then is, are these hard to replace? I just broke it not 30 minutes ago, and i'm about to order one here soon. My car is a 1998, so i'm assuming there is a difference between part numbers. If anyone has some insight, please let me know. I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks,
Carlo

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. I'm not sure if the part number is different, but maybe create a WTB ad in the sale forums. I'm sure someone has one. It's not very difficult to replace. I can't find a video on youtube for an SC or Supra, but I found one for a Yaris and it's very similar. Take a look at youtube and search remove toyota clockspring and you'll find the video.
