There is really no other car "Realistically" that I would trade the SC for, since it's worth more that it's "realistic" value. KBB for a 92 SC with 150k, is around 4-5k. Buy a Malibu for that. No way would I trade my SC for a car of equal value.

Then my answer is no other car. I've looked and there isn't another reliable high-mileage 2+2 RWD as good as the SC for the same general value. Not if the years are limited to 1985-2000. There are plenty of interesting and fun cars in those years, however. Just very few that have the SC's basic criteria or used values (with well cared for and tastefully modified examples-- not trashed SC values).

True, i like alot of your guys reply's and see the same vehicles i would like to own one day but for a straight up trade Im not sure anything comes close to the SC.... its a hard choice to make. I got a very short list as well

When I bought my SC I was looking at mostly RWD/AWD manual-transmission performance cars mostly newer than 2000 around the $10.5k-$16k range often with around 300hp. I knew of many great 1985-2000 cars but I wouldn't go near them as daily drivers. Too much TLC needed, spotty reliability and I had a rule: "no swap/project cars".
The SC 5-speed I found was my one and only exception to my rule because it is a reliable, scalable design and fit all my other criteria other than horsepower (from the factory).
I still find it hard to imagine what to replace it with from 1985-2000 in a realistic trade other than another SC similarly modified. I've listed my alternatives, but I'm most happy with the SC given those limitations.

Well if it were me, the first three cars that would come first
1. MKIV Supra TT 95 (emrald jade mica)
I say a 95 because i want to be able to drive it without feeling like i've wasting a low miles 97-98. plus down right one of the sexiest cars ever made.

One of the most under appreciated cars toyota ever made. bigger than a altezza but doen't handle like its a boat. plus the one thing that is nice is they make great road trip cars. we took one from iwakuni to hiroshima and it was probably one of the best road trip ever

Kahnbb6, Have you looked at at a BMW e46 (3 series) 328i/330ci? If not, then you really need to go drive one. The e46 platform is much better than the e36 in my opinion. 3 series are a "Drivers" car for sure. If you buy one (or any BMW for that matter) just make sure you are an avid member of the BMW forums. 5 speeds are much more enjoyable than the auto Steptronic. With the 3 series, the more powerful engined ones ofter the most fun!!

I think I would only trade for a newer, less mileage SC3/400 or another Acura Legend Coupe. I had a 6 speed with practically every mod there was and then some custom fabbed parts. Theres practically no aftermarket for that car but it has sentimental value and the V6 engine sounded like a pissed off chewbacca lol.. I miss it all the time but keep telling myself i'll be happy with the SC once I add some personal touches and boost.

I drove a '97 automatic M3 coupe back when they were fairly new and it was a fun car but I have heard that the E46 of any trim level blows it away. My vote would go to an E39 M5 or 540i/6-speed, E46 manual or (stretching here) an 850CSi V-12 6-speed. The latter really is a work of art.

These are awesome. I drove a stock '87 once at a used lot and it was like a ballistic refrigerator. I loved it. I almost bought another one a year later. I may still. 86-87 (and 85's with an intercooler added) Regal T-Types and GN's are one of the last great classic Detroit muscle cars. I'd be VERY tempted to trade one for my SC but the G-Body is flexy and doesn't handle well, unlike the SC. Still... it's part of what makes it so special.

I would not trade. There is nothing built during those years that I like better. Especially now that I am near totally finished with the 8+ year long project, I would not trade the car period. Now I am in the "tweaking" stage...Finding all the little things that I need to change or modify to correct little issues such as too much heat in specific areas that still put out too much radiant heat and damage electronics, and such. Working it all out.
