I'd let a few select people drive my car IF AND ONLY IF I was in the car with them. A lot of people simply are scared to drive it though due to just how low it is (and they know how pissed I'll be if they scrape)

I would let me wife drive my car. She have had a few modded cars herself like a jdm front end integra with a prelude motor in it no power steering 5 speed and a ek hatch 5 lug with type r motor no powersteering 5 speed. I drove both of those cars before and I must say F not having powersteering. BTW my wife is 5'7" and about 115 and I don't know how she drives those cars back then and manages to use a cell phone. I have asked my wife about driving my sc and she doesn't wanna have anything to do with driving my car because she hates the way the SC looks.

We are the original owners of the '92 SC. I only got to drive it for a year and then she had it for the next 11. The son got it away from her in '04 and he gave it back to me (okay, "us") in '11.

After fixing the A/C and numerous mechanical and related issues I began the re-paint, body kit, and soon suspension, wheels, brakes, and intake/exhaust mods.

She has not driven it since the body kit and thinks I am "crazy" to lower the car in prep for the new wheels/tires. I only drive this once a week to work so she has threaten to drive it "when ever she wants" but so far has not.....

So, do I "let" her drive it??? Absolutely. Has she??? Not yet......

No I don't let her drive it. But its only because life is too short to have to rationalize that you are responsible for the death of a loved one by boost.

Does she accept this logic? No because I know her driving record and I willingly get in her car as a passenger. Kind of mitigates said "logic".

I would ask my girlfriend if she wants to drive the car. She always says no, its too low i dont want to mess it up. But she did drive once, I drank too much she did fine. She never ask if she can drive my car, I don't mind if she does.

Sometimes i try to encourage her to drive it, but she doesn't want to.

Few people are allowed to drive my car. I generally don't like valets driving it. My girlfriend is one of them and she's excellent with it. She grew up on sporty stick-shift cars and she's a very skilled driver. Seldom does she want to drive my SC though. I offer from time to time but it's her choice

This trust, though is for very few people. I once let a kid learn on my Prelude 5-speed and he took out reverse at 20mph. Yes-- reverse. Never again. What was I thinking that day...

I teach my wife to drive all of my cars....would be foolish not to in case I need her to move my car or get it somewhere...Taught her to drive the s13, the s14, the 350z and right now she drives my sc multiple times a week while I'm still deployed. And if something happens....eh, that's what insurance is for.
