Default Air Bag and ABS light on

I have a 1992 SC 400. I just got new NGK spark plugs and another steering pump put in. When I got my car back from the mechanic after he installed both of these, I took my car back to him because it was miss firing so the mechanic fixed it and said it was a bad spark plug wire. I drove off again and 15 minutes later my battery light came on and all lights on my dash went off. I parked, turned off the car, tried to start it and nothing. The car would not start or make a sound. I waited about 15 - 20 minutes and was able to start it back up with all lights working now. I was able to make it back to the mechanic assuming it was my alternator this time. He then fixed this battery light problem and told me it was not the alternator, but it was a wire so he fixed it. When I picked up my car from him again, I noticed my passenger tail light was not working this time and the tail light indicator in my dash was on. I then replaced the corroded light socket myself and put a new bulb in a couple days later, so now at least my tail light works again and the tail light indicator light in my dash is gone.

After I drove off from the mechanic after he fixed my wire that I thought was the alternator, that's when the Air Bag light came on and stays on. A day later the ABS light came on and also stays on now. The car runs fine, but I want to get rid of these warning lights.

Anyone have any suggestions what the problem could be and how to fix this?

If you're lowered, check the wiring harness on the underside of te driver side wheel well.

What wire did the mech fix? My guess wouldve been the alternator and only the alternator.

Maybe something he did got mixed up, left unplugged, etc etc.

There should be a DIY Airbag Reset thread. Not sure about the ABS.
