Sorry to bump an old post, but more info is needed here 
What's up guys
I wanted to know if you ever got it figured out? I got a spare solenoid harness from an old 94 ls400 looks exactly like the one above. That means the solenoid wiring to the old trany the same as 98+?? I don't get that
Did your car start with no problems? And does it idle and run normally?
The reason I'm asking all this is I'm getting ready to do the w58 swap myself and as electronics are my main concern as far as getting her started after the swap and not as much as mechanical aspects and installation stuff
