i havea 92 sc300 and my heater hose is out and it has high miles(268k+) and have 3000 to spend on whatever so idk if i should get a parts car or maybe just get a cheap rx7 and then start to build my sc, but cant decide what to do.. so im turning to you guys haha

so wait, why would u buy an rx7 for a dd while u build your sc? rx7 = terrible DD unless you're pretty familiar with rotories and even then...

If you have a 3k budget, why not just get your heater hose fixed and put the rest towards a mild build on your SC? From the pics in your signature, it looks pretty decent?

I would not drift your DD....a lot of people pretend too, but it's pretty hard on the car, and a broken DD is useless...also only good until you crash it..

btw...240>rx7, just sayin

Buying an rx-7 as a dd is a turrible idea, one of the most unreliable cars out there. Why dont you get yourself a beater $2000 RELIABLE and easy to work on car (civic, corolla, sentra, etc.) And spend the rest on your Sc. Having two project cars is going to drain your time, mind, and wallet dry.

yeah I say go with the Corolla if you want to go that route. keep it in the Toyota family. and don't even think about an s chassis, they break to easily.

Should make sure your daily is in working order before you mod your car. What I don't understand is why people get beater cars to daily, you aren't really using your SC anymore if you do that. I could understand if you were rich, but most of the people who do that aren't :|

Sounds like a good deal, jump on it. Get your SC running good and spend the rest on something you want, like nice cheap wheels?

its really not running bad, just the hcv is out so the hoses are by passing the control valve and the upper heater hose is out but it will be in tomorrow so im gonna get that hose on and get an oil change and possibaly a tune up, then go check the corolla out. all after work lol sounds like a busy day tomorrow

Quick Reply: should i get a second sc300 for under 2000 and use it for parts?
