93 SC400 stock 0-60 times using g-tech
Did a few 0-60 runs in my bone stock 93 SC400 last night.
The time was fairly consistent at 6.5 seconds. I think I will need to do a 2JZ-GTE swap soon to get me down into the low 4 second range. The V8 does have some nice torque, anything over 1k brake torqueing would result in a smokey burnout for half the block.

As per Lexus, 0-60 on your car should be 6.9 and you're doing better than that.
I have a 92 SC400. I haven't timed my 0-60's but I can def tell that I'm hitting 60 in under 7 seconds.

Nice time for stock. Definitely an SC in good running condition. Is that the one you got for $700? Lol
With just BFI and shift kit I'm doing about 6 seconds 0-60mp/h. I have this on video.
4.08 Torsen and 2800rpm torque converter going in within next two weeks. Expecting sub 6 second 0-60mp/h times.
I'm going to run a 75 shot of nitrous until I get a stand alone ECU and progressive nitrous controller. With 75hp shot and all the above I'm expecting a 5 second 0-60mp/h time.
I'll definitely be making vids of all the progress.

Yes, this is the one I bought for $750. I think I will try the BFI and shift kit in a few weeks. Sound like a good combo.
I would like to see some videos of your car with the nitrous on it. Is it a wet system or a dry system? How safe is a 75 shot on the stock ECU?

75 shot is extremely safe with stock ecu. After 75 it's best to be pulling timing for safety. I found a good deal just now on an AEM FIC 8, going to use it to pull my timing and run a bigger shot. Once I get all this installed and a new progressive nitrous controller I plan to run a 150 shot.
I'll make a video of the 75 shot of nitrous once I get my Torsen and torque converter in. All child's play to a real turbo or supercharger setup but nitrous is fun lol.

can someone tell me about this shift kit, isn't this something that modified INSIDE the transmission?
by that point why not invest that couple hundred toward a manual swap?
